The Wors Man was founded by Fulton Rupapa who was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Victoria Falls. The Wors Man started in 2006 as a hobby as Fulton was missing the taste he grew up around. His father worked in hotels for many years, and Fulton also joined the same industry for almost 5 years, though working in the Internal Audit department. Having moved to the UK in 2003, he missed great sausages and started experimenting as a hobby. The name Wors Man was given by friends as a nickname and it has stuck to this day.
We started by buying and importing ready made spices from South Africa and Zimbabwe. As of 2016, we had developed our own authentic spice mixes that we have used since. We are unique in the sense that all our recipes are 100% The Wors Man. We are also able to do the Spices as Gluten Free for those with a Gluten-Free preference
As of October 2017, we partnered with C Humphreys and Sons of Blixes Farm, Chelmsford. All our production is done from their world class premises.
We aim to produce the best boerewors, Biltong and dry wors with an authentic taste of home away from home
